My review is based on a takeout order so bear that in mind. I got chicken tikka masala and added garlic naan. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the sauce very tasty. The rice was standard but good. The naan was disappointing. It was very dense which is not how I prefer. I can't speak to the service or ambiance in this review but would like to eat at the restaurant to see if the naan just doesn't travel well.

We've ordered takeout from all the Indian restaurants in the downtown Buffalo area and this one is def our favorite. The staff is great, and the food is always top notch. Order the Chicken 65 appetizer! It's so spicy and so damn good.

Tikka house is truly a GEM. It's delicious and good for the soul. The owner is always so pleasant and informative when he's there. I absolutely love the dining in experience with the staff as they always are kind and courteous and the ambiance is peaceful and welcoming. My go to meal is the Buttahhh chicken SPICY with garlic naan and chai latte. I honestly can't wait to get in there again bc it's been a little while. So far this is my fav Indian spot in the city.

Great spot! Right across from University of Buffalo Jacobs Medical Building. Wonderful option if you're nearby the university or close to downtown. I got a mango lassi, paneer tikka masala (nice and creamy), the garlic naan (VERY nice and fresh naan), Chicken 65 (flavorful) and lamb rogan josh (very well done--tender and large chunks of lamb with no gamey smell of lamb. Prices were fair, and the taste of all the dishes was very nice. Service was also very nice--they were very friendly, and even gave us a free chai and papadum!

Open Mondays! Directly across from the Allen Street Metro Rail station. Casual dining with splendid service. My friend and I shared wonderful food. We had vegetarian vegetable biryani and a dish with crumbled samosas after riding in Slow Roll. Our naan was crisp and moist at the same time. Mango Lassi is just the right amount of sweetness - not too sweet. The wide-ranging menu makes me think this will be a regular place for me.

Found this place on a Yelp search for Indian food in Buffalo. One final meal before our return trip home. We got there around 4:00 pm on a Tuesday and the place was empty. The server brought us to a table by the front window, which was very nice. We first ordered a Vegetable Samosa to share. The server brought us the dish, which is two nice size samosas that were perfect for sharing one each as an appetizer. The pastry was fried nicely, with each bite starting with a crunch followed by tender inner pastry. The filling of potato and peas was ample. My partner ordered Lamb Curry and I ordered Saag Paneer. My partner liked the heat of her dish (she ordered "medium", one of the two options offered - medium or spicy.). The lamb was cooked nicely and had a good flavor. The curry sauce was nicely spiced, but not overpowering. The Saag Paneer (also ordered medium) included large chunks of paneer and was nicely spiced. I'm thinking that if I had ordered it Spicy that I may not have been able to eat it. This was plenty spicy. The orders came with a large plate of well prepared basmati rice, which we could have requested more of but it was plenty. We also ordered a garlic naan, which was a single naan bread cut into four pieces. Each piece had chunks of garlic throughout and was very good. We told the server that we were just passing through town and probably wouldn't be back in the area. So, we were surprised when he brought the check and gave each of us a complementary serving of rice pudding. I'm not usually a fan of rice pudding because it either doesn't have much flavor or is too watery. This dessert suffered from neither of those things. It was delicious.

Authentic Indian, Bangladeshi food at it's finest. The restaurant is small and even though you can dine here. I find it so much easier to just get takeout. The menu is extensive but not intimidating. Service is great and there's no issues with ordering your food online. Chicken Tikka Masala- Nice entree with plenty of cubed chicken. Sauce consist of coconut and cream, and their special masala sauce. Butter chicken- Love, Love, love the creamy sweet (not overly) coconut almond sauce. This will be one of my regular orders. Buffalo Tikka House Biryani special- what a great unique flavor this entree has. Every bit of your taste buds is involved when your habing this entree. Also the proteins (chicken, shrimp, and lamb) in this dish was prepared wonderfully. Naan- garlic fresh and full of flavor
